Added a new Passwords item to the three-dot menu.
The numpad on a physical keyboard can now be used to commit URLs entered in the toolbar.
Web content translation is now available on Firefox Android! Unlike cloud-based alternatives, translation is done locally in Firefox, so that the translated text doesn’t leave your device. More improvements and languages coming soon!
This feature is part of a progressive roll out.
Certain new Firefox features are released gradually. This means some users will see the feature before everyone does. This approach helps to get early feedback to catch bugs and improve behavior quickly, meaning more Firefox users overall have a better experience.
Various security fixes.
Fixed battery usage reporting in Firefox for Android: Firefox no longer triggers a bug in Android 14 which was causing Android to report massively inflated battery usage on certain devices when Firefox was not running. You may need to restart your phone for the fix to take effect (fixed in Firefox 127.0.2)
We have improved our compiler optimization settings, improving responsiveness, reducing page load times, and extending battery life.
The Recently Saved section home page has become the Bookmarks section. These items no longer expire.
